Hillary and her 1st car

She'll have FUN FUN FUN till her daddy takes the keys away.

John went to NC to pick up her car. Its a standard so she had to learn to drive all over again, but she picked it up quick. She drove it with the top down when we still had snow on the ground.

She was very excited today because it is really the first beautiful sunny day that she can actually pick her friends up with the top down. They went to the park in her car.

EASTER 08

Easter was a Beautiful Day but a lil chilly. We all went to Larry & Kellie's house and she made a wonderful Easter dinner that everyone enjoyed very much. We did miss Brittany as she had to work at Children's Hospital. We also missed Pete and Mindy and Amber as always. When everyone is not there its like there are pieces missing.

Zoe and Canon Hunted for Easter eggs that Hillary and Makenzie Hid. Next year Park will be hunting eggs also. He is getting soo big hard to believe he will be a year next month.

Uncle Larry, Hillary & Makenzie ended up having a tickle fight on the couch.

Uncle Larry, Luke, Colin, and the girls ended up throwing plastic Easter eggs at each other for quite a while they were quite wild. There were plastic eggs all over the living room. Canon was really enoying the jelly beans he seems to love them.

Snow Days Are Wonderful

See the pretty snowflakes Falling from the sky;
On the wall and housetops Soft and thick they lie.
On the window ledges, On the branches bare;
Now how fast they gather, Filling all the air.
Look into the garden, Where the grass was green;
Covered by the snowflakes, Not a blade is seen.
Now the bare black bushes All look soft and white,
Every twig is laden, What a pretty sight!

Life has been full of fun this month. Living in Ohio we almost had a blizzard (if the winds would have been higher it would have qualified for one). We were trapped in our home from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening, seventeen inches of snow fell in 24 hours and we were in a level 3 snow emergency.

We spent the weekend watching the snow, watching movies, playing games, cooking food. John kept a fire roaring ALL weekend. It was one of those those times you know the children will never forget and you enjoyed immensely just getting some quailty time with family something thats hard to come by when you have three children. As soon as our neighbor bulldozed us out John and Hillary both were out and gone, anxious to explore a snow filled world and visit others.

Looking Back at Christmas 07

Christmas Tree hunting is a family tradition that we enjoy. It wasn't snowing when we left home but by the time we got to the tree farm you couldn't see the ground. It continued to snow the whole time we were there. It was a lot of fun but very cold.

THey really do love each other.

Look I found the perfect Christmas Tree.

It's 4:30 in the morning and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse. When downstairs there arose such a clatter that John and I were on our feet and sneaking down the stairs wondering what was the matter, we were worried that someone was in the house. AS we entered the family room we saw what had happened much to our amazement our Christmas tree had taken a tumble and was laying on the floor. "OH MY" John started right to work trying to get it back up and I being ever so helpful grabbed my camera to take pictures. HA HA! Merry Christmas to all and to all less sleep that night. (I'm glad it wasn't my favorite tree which was in another room.)
